Shift Zero member organizations are the backbone of a growing movement for clean, healthy buildings in Washington State. We welcome a broad range of organizations and perspectives to join us in driving transformative change. Our members include nonprofits, community groups, government entities, and businesses.
Become a Shift Zero organizational member
- Broaden your organization’s reach on policy issues around climate and the built environment
- Connect across silos to a community of people committed to working collaboratively to advance zero carbon buildings at the state and local levels
- Deepen advocacy work at the intersection of health, poverty, housing + climate issues
- Leverage your expertise and strengthen Shift Zero’s collective voice
- Participate in setting Shift Zero priorities
Step 1: Fill out a brief membership application, noting which type of membership your organization interested in:
- Full Members support Shift Zero’s vision of zero carbon buildings for all in Washington and are automatically opted-in for advocacy efforts, but may choose to opt-out on specific initiatives.
- Associate Members include local governments, state agencies, businesses and organizations who support the alliance’s objectives but prefer to be exempt from Shift Zero advocacy actions. They are automatically opted-out of our advocacy efforts but may choose to opt-in on specific initiatives.
Step 2: The Steering Committee reviews membership applications monthly and once new organizations are confirmed, we solicit dues and help new members plug into any Shift Zero teams of interest.
Annual Member Dues
- Business Members:
- $250 – Size of 10 or less employees
- $500 – Size of 10-50 employees
- $1000 – Size of 50 or more employees
- Nonprofit Members:
- $200 – Annual budget $500,000 and under
- $400 – Annual budget $500,000 – $1,000,000
- $500 – Annual budget $1,000,000 and over
- Government Associate Members: $750
